  • If you find any bugs with Preferential, please file a new Bugzilla report to help.
  • Give feedback on Preferential on the Notes page, or contact GuruJ directly.
Preferential

Welcome to Preferential! The Preferential project aims to provide a comprehensive resource for finding Mozilla preference documentation. It is also a popular Mozilla extension that provides all Gecko-based products (eg. Mozilla Suite, Firebird & Thunderbird) with a simple, accessible GUI to use when browsing and modifying preferences set within that product.

The current version of Preferential is 0.8.1. You can install an XPI, download the source, or view screenshots that demonstrate Preferential in action.

All user feedback is welcome. Visit the notes page to submit a comment. Alternatively, please consider posting directly to the public.mozdev.preferential newsgroup, or writing directly to GuruJ@mbox.com.au.

Features
Future Features

Eventually, it is hoped Preferential will sport a GUI interface for browsing the 'chrome' directory. This allows people to easily view text, replace images and generally hack the interface even more.

The preferential project can be contacted through the mailing list or the member list.
